Stillwater Area School District Q Comp Plan

4 Components:

  1. Individual goal setting

    1. New this year! 

    2. Each educator meets with their building instructional coach to develop an individual SMART goal.

  2. Learning cohorts/Professional development

    1. New this year!

    2. Each educator submitted a professional development interest survey in September. Instructional coaches then placed educators into cohorts based on their interests.  (example: formative assessment cohort - each educator will implement formative assessments and then come together with their data to discuss efficacy)

    3. Educators currently taking higher education courses can count this as their “cohort” learning for the year. 

    4. The purpose is REFLECTION

  3. Principal walk-through

    1. Each tenured educator will participate in 1 principal walk-through

    2. Each probationary educator will participate in 3 principal walk-throughs

  4. Reflection 

    1. At the end of the school year, each educator is required to write a brief reflection based on their SMART goal, walk-through data, and cohort learning.
